R.E. Merrill & Associates, Inc. was founded in Houston, Texas by Ron Merrill Sr. with a simple vision: provide unwavering quality and unmatched service in a market that keeps America moving.

The company built its name in the services other suppliers avoid: corrosive chemicals, abrasive slurries, and the fluids that destroy ordinary pumps. Vanton engineered thermoplastic pumps and Grundfos dosing pumps were the original specialty, and the line card has grown around that core into a full corrosion-resistant equipment portfolio, from pumps to thermoplastic piping, valves, and seals.

In 2020, Ron Merrill Jr. took the reins, carrying forward the principles the firm was built on: honesty, a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to problem-solving, and an attention to detail. The tools have changed. The way we treat customers has not.

We are a manufacturers' representative and distributor, which means we sit on your side of the table. You describe the duty; we match it against thirteen manufacturer lines and decades of field history in Texas plants, and we confirm materials against curated engineering data and factory guidance before we quote. When the answer is not in our line card, we tell you that too.
